“I was talking to a lot of designers who came here with me from different countries. And I told them, like, Moscow is an amazing place for artists to get inspired. It has a lot of things in it, you have the history, you have the culture, you also have the modernity, you also have the technology, you have the arts and the music. While I'm here I really like taking all the inspiration that I could as an artist. It's really amazing. I was actually telling one of my colleagues earlier, I think my next collection is going to be Russian inspired” says Reynier Abello, Founder of Spectrum International Fashion Festival, designer of Armada brand.

“This is my first visit to Russia and it was amazing,” says Malaysian designer Yani Bahtiar. “I loved Moscow, Russian culture, beautiful buildings and very nice people. And now, I want to introduce you to my country Malaysia.”

“It's my second time in Moscow. The last time, it was snowy, it was really nice. It looked like Christmas time. My favourite place was the Bolshoi Theater. It was amazing. It was unforgettable. And this time, I was excited about this space museum, but also liked the pavilions of countries. It was amazing. You can see the cultural details of each country in that pavilion”, says Bediz Yildirim, Lecturer at Istanbul Fashion Academy, Founder at Bediz Co.

“The BRICS+ Fashion Summit is a very good platform to develop fashion around the world because it brings different creators from different countries and they get involved. South America, Central America, the Pacific, all in Russia, all in one place to discuss fashion. We are going to grow the fashion industry in a revolutionary form”, says Emmanuel Miyoba Muchindu, CEO of Lusaka Fashion Weekend.

A visit to the Cosmonautics and Aviation Center sparked new ideas and projects among the BRICS+ Fashion Summit participants, inspiring them to explore ways to unite fashion and science.
